Deep Sea 3D unveils a fascinating display by the hidden beauty of the ocean depths as the Giant Pacific octopus, sunfish, mantis shrimp and more of the planet’s most exotic creatures turn and sway amongst us. The spectacular 3D images take us deep into the last uncharted territories on Earth.

IMAX Solido ® Technology
Images are projected onto an 800 m² semi-circular screen. Viewers perceive the 3D effect by wearing liquid-crystal glasses, which become opaque (non-transparent) upon receving an ifra-red signal from the projector. As both the left and right eye images are projected alternately onto the screen, one or the other of the glasses becomes opaque,thus ensuring that each eye sees the appropriate image and creating the 3D effect.
